Warren County YMCA Programs Land Fitness:
ZUMBA This one-hour fitness routine features interval training sessions where fast & slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone & sculpt your body while burning fat. Fuses hypnotic, Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one of a kind fitness program.
Class begins September 14th

Ballroom Dance & More We offer several styles of dance lessons. Styles of dance include Salsa, Ballroom, Swing, Line Dance, and more. Andrew Batt, ballroom dance instructor from the Quad Cities, leads classes. You will learn the basic steps and ready to hit the dance floor with your spouse and/or friends.
Monday: 7:15-8:15 pm
Beginner Kick-boxing Start at the beginning. This class will take you through basic skills for Cardio kickboxing. It's important to learn proper technique for this punching, kicking class. Be prepared for a great low to intermediate work–out.
Monday/Wednesday: 6:15-7:00 pm

Cardio-Kickboxing This class is set up for beginner, intermediate, or advanced participants. Always work at your own pace! Cardio-Kickboxing is full of various cardiovascular moves. These moves require a variety of punches, and kicks, with low and high-impact moves. Jumping jacks, jumping rope, squats, toning moves, etc. can be expected in this class. Cardio-Kickboxing also has many tools to use, such as, resistance bands, weighted gloves, kick bags, punch bags, wavemasters, medicine balls... the list goes on and on!

Core-lystixs This class combines strength and cardio training at its best. Work on those hard to tone areas, strengthen, and build those dreaded core muscles using many of our fitness tools. Enjoy the feeling of getting in shape. Your confidence and energy level will soar with Core-lystixs.
Monday/Wednesday: 5:30-6:15 pm

Kuk Sool Won (16 years old & up) Learn the many different styles & technical skills of Kuk Sool Won. Focuses on martial arts and discipline. Class is taught by Tony Ricco, who has a black belt in Kuk Sool Won. 20 participant maximum per class. Requirement: Black Gee & White belt.
Thursday: 7:30-8:30 pm

Lunch Crunch No time for exercise, how about lunchtime? It's the perfect time to fit in some exercise. This class will fire up your abdominals while strengthening the back. Come on take some you time, grab a quick bite to eat and feel energized the rest of the day.

P.A.C.E. (People with Arthritis Can Exercise) If you think exercising in a chair is not challenging, you need to try P.A.C.E.
Designed by the arthritis foundation, this class is not only cardiovascular, it is also designed to strengthen muscles. P.A.C.E. takes you through a variety of exercises for your whole body, then pleasantly stretchs each muscle slowly and safely. This class helps many to move more easily and safely with everyday tasks.

Pilates This half-hour mat class has stretching and strenghening for the whole body. Pilates will strengthen and tone muscles, improve posture, provide flexibility and balance, unite the mind and body, improve breathing, and create a more streamline shape.

Y-Pump Come enjoy one hour of hard core weight training. It's a total body fitness class! Tone up and build energy with barbells and free weights. Many other props are used such as: steps, stability ball, rubber tubing, and much more. All levels of exercisers are welcome!

Fit Beginnings This is a great way for the beginning exerciser to start a consistent exercise routine. We will pair you with one of our professionals to get you on your way to a healthier you. This 9 week program will take you through all cardio and strength training machines; we also will give you an overview of the classes that the YMCA offers. We will design an exercise program that fits your schedule and lifestyle. This program is for Members only.
Nautilus Orientations Intimidated by the equipment? Want to learn, but don't know what to do? Contact our Front Desk to set up an appointment to have a trained professional take you step by step through each machine.
You must be 12 years or older, 100 lbs or over, and at least 5 foot tall to be able to work the machines properly. Nautilus Orientations are for Members Only. A $10 deposit is required at sign-up; money is returned after orientation.
Dance Fusion Similar to Zumba, dance fusion will continue to motivate you to keep moving. A variety of dance styles are used to create this unique class. You will be having so fun moving to the sound of different rhythms, that you will forget it's exercise. Beginner to Intermediate.

Y-Walk Stay consistent with your walking program even in the cold months with this non-instructional program. Use our gym October through March. Remember 17 times around the gym is a mile. Y-Walk is free for Members and $15 for Non-Members. All proceeds go to our Strong Kids Campaign. Sign-up at the YMCA; online registration is not available.
